Aisha has always loved writing poetry but only began to take it seriously during her final year at university. Since then, she has joined poetry communities; completed a spoken word BootCamp run by the Tees Women Poets; performed at events and she is planning in-person workshops in the Teesside area. Her poetry discusses anxiety in it's many forms, but she also enjoys experimenting with different styles and has special interests in eco and ekphrastic poetry. Alongside her writing qualifications, Aisha has a Diploma in Counselling Skills, and is incredibly passionate about writing for wellbeing.
